Tzolkin & Haab Calendars The date December 21st, 2012 A.D. (13.0.0.0.0 in the Long Count), represents the date of the conjunction between the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (Equator of the Milky Way) and the Ecliptic (path of the Sun). This date is celestially important, and this is a conjunction that we ignore at our peril. This event is one the Mayans recognised as the Sacred Tree and also when the Mayan calendar stops. This is an event that has been coming to resonance very slowly over thousands and thousands of years. It will come to resolution at exactly 11:11 am GMT. The Tzolkin is a 260-day calendar based around the period of human gestation and one which the Mayans mainly used. It is composed of 20 day-signs, each of which has 13 variations, and was (and still is) used to determine character traits and time harmonics, in a similar way to Western astrology. This is inline with the human clock, the one which the pineal gland equates to. The Mayans also used a 365-day calendar called the Haab, and a Venus calendar, plus others. They measured long time periods by means of a Long Count, in which one 360-day year which they called a Tun, consisting of 18 x 20-day months or Uinals as they called them. Twenty of these Tuns is a Katun; 20 Katuns is a Baktun (nearly 400 years); and 13 Baktuns adds up to a "Great Cycle" of 1,872,000 days, ( 5200 Tuns, or about 5125 years). The Tzolkin is based on the Great Cycle, and can be used to map history, as if it is measuring not individual gestation but species gestation. Although each great cycle of 5125 years were highly important, after 5 great cycles comes the precession of the equinoxes, or the Grand Year, which is of greater importance. 5 great cycles since 5 Great Cycles add up to exactly 26,000 thousand Tuns or years. It should be noted that they used a 260 day calendar, therefore there is a close and important and harmonic relationship with the 26,000 thousand year Grand Year.
Furthermore the cycle of the Pleiades also takes 26,000 thousand years, which is why you will hear so much about Pleiades when talking about 2012 subjects. The Tzolk'in is the Sacred calendar of the Maya and is based on the cycles of the Pleiades. It uses the sacred numbers 13 and 20. The 13 represents the numbers and 20 represents the sun/glyphs. The Tzolk'in has four smaller cycles called seasons of 65 days each guarded by the four suns of Chicchan, Oc, Men and Ahau, I mention this because they are also Portal days within the Tzolk'in that create a double helix pattern using 52 days and the mathematics of 28. This sacred calendar is still being used for divination by the traditional Maya all over the The Tzolkin calendar encodes light frequencies, crystalline frequencies and genetic frequencies. Light frequencies are electromagnetic energy patterns. Crystalline frequencies describe the elements and forms of matter. Genetic frequencies refer to organic life patterns. The I Ching is based on a set of binary mathematical permutations, which is also very similar to the Mayan harmonic numbers of - 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64. By comparison, the Tzolkin is based on permutations of thirteen numbers and twenty symbols or Sacred Signs which yield a possibility of 260 permutations. At minimum, each one of the 260 permutations is a combination of one of thirteen numbers, one of twenty signs, and one of four directional positions. Finally, like the I Ching, the Tzolkin is a system for revealing information relating to a deeper or larger purpose. While the I Ching is precisely synchronized with the genetic code, the Tzolkin is synchronized with the galactic code. As the genetic code governs information concerning the operation of all levels of the life cycle, inclusive of all plant and animal forms, the galactic code governs information affecting the operations of the light cycle. The light cycle defines resonant frequency ranges of radiant energy, inclusive of electricity, heat, light and radio waves that inform the self-generative functions of all phenomena, organic or inorganic. The two codes are obviously interpenetrating and complementary. Sunspot Cycles; Adrian Gilbert and Maurice Cotterell, in their book the Mayan Prophecies, say that the end of the Great Cycle is the culmination of a series of long-term sunspot cycles which will flip the sun’s magnetic field, causing earthquakes and flooding on earth. Moreover, the changing magnetic field will alter the endocrine production of the pineal gland. The pineal gland contains a small amount of magnetite, therefore it would be extraordinary if it were not effected.

"We're near the end of Solar Cycle 23, which peaked way back in 2001," explains Hathaway. The next cycle, Solar Cycle 24, should begin "any time now," returning the sun to a stormy state. Satellite operators and NASA mission planners are bracing for this next solar cycle because it is expected to be exceptionally stormy, perhaps the stormiest in decades. Sunspots and solar flares will return in abundance, producing bright auroras on Earth and dangerous proton storms in space. But when will Solar Cycle 24 begin?
