Why Learn to Dowse

In order to understand creation, and the complexities of the world around us, we must understand energies more, and dowsing can help us in this way if used scientifically and sensibly, it is also for the beginner, as the beginner will often achieve as much as any scientist who has been restricted by the laws of yesterday.

It is a very useful tool, and can be used to understand what must be of interest to all, in this most vital and interesting subject.

Dowsing has been around for centuries, and many different types of dowser have and can be used, probably the most famous being twigs, often willow, which were used for divining for water underground, and other essential elements which would help provide survival or a better standard of living.

Dowsing is by no means a new age fad, although it is gaining in popularity again.

To be effective, dowsing must be taken seriously, and it should be carried out with the right intent, if one uses it for personal information, the mind will most likely rule over it as you will subconsciously be swaying the answer.

If carried out sensibly, it can be very accurate, but keep testing and checking your answers, if you are at all unsure.

A dowser, can be made of a lot of things, when I was a teenager, I used to use a bit of cotton, wrapped around several matchsticks, I had not heard of crystal dowsers then and it seemed to work just as well. I used to use it for testing the sex of things, anything I could lay my hands on, and just household items often like: eggs, butter, milk, pottery and wood etc.

I believe anyone can dowse and use a pendulum, it is simply natural, everything has an energy, and this energy is there to be picked up.

It is most commonly used now to ask questions about people, often personal questions, whether someone should do this or that, or whether this would work out if I did this etc.

With these type of questions there are always so many invariables, it is the same as going to see a medium, sometimes you can get a positive answer that you can rely on, and sometimes you don’t, that is because you have not perhaps known all the circumstances, and are not asking the right question having all the facts at your fingertips, and it can be very confusing.

In the same way, when dowsing one must make sure the question is asked correctly, particularly if it of a personal nature.

The dowser will give simple yes and no answers if required for personal questions, but if using it for testing the sex of an object, it will give male, female or inert.

The signals for this are usually that your personal yes, is the female, your personal no, is male.

The dowser tells you what the answer is, by swinging one way or the other.

The usual swings are, and these vary from person to person, clockwise, anti clockwise, in a straight line, one way and then the other, and staying static.

One must test this for yourself by asking simple questions like, is my name Anne, and if it is, then you should be getting a yes or a positive answer, if it is not, then you should be getting a no or a negative answer.

When asking a question about the polarity or sex of something, there is only one answer that is correct and this can prove more accurate, we must understand though that we have many layers, and are made up of different polarities.

I will explain that later.

I would at first try to check for polarities or sex of an object to get used to dowsing, and would personally suggest a cheap quartz crystal dowser or pendulum be used, the quartz is on a chain, and one should wrap the chain around your finger, and simply dangle the quartz over an object.

Now you can check to see which way it swings, then go on to try other things.

Before I go any further with this section, I believe I have to explain a little bit further about energies and what sort of energies dowsing can find out and show exist for us.

Do inanimate objects also have energies?

If chemicals have a vibration, or energy, then it follows, that inanimate objects also have an energy or vibration, which they do much the same as animals and humans, why should they logically be any different if they are comprised from the same materials.

They have their own electrical system, male and female, positive and negative, just as humans do.

They have their own pulse, or heartbeat to, just as humans do.

There are many people who can hold a stone, any stone, and feel the heartbeat, then when lifting another, made up of a different chemical composition, find the heartbeat to be different, not unsurprisingly.

I would suggest you try this yourself as it will help to tune you up to be able to feel the more sensitive vibrations that exist on this Earth all around us.

Every stone and inanimate object around us on this Earth and outside it, has the capability of memory, as they have been affected by magnetism, some in the case of stones and crystals, at times more than we have, and I believe, magnetism is a major key to memory retention.

Water holds magnetism, to the extent that we can record music on thin slithers of water, in the same way we record music on to magnetic tape.

Even everyday inanimate objects around us have an energy, they all have a polarity or sex, except those that are manmade compounds, like nylons or plastics.

It may be helpful to learn dowsing, It is so easy, and when you learn, I suggest you try and look at the sexes of those so called inanimate objects, like those of ‘Mother Earth such as soil, pottery and sand etc, and the others which have an alternative pulse, like water, wood and metals.

We have still so much to learn about how crystals and stones, and all forms of life, can assist us in helping us understand the world around us, and in the end, understanding nature, and working with it, and not against it.

Start Dowsing

So, now we have a little more understanding of the complexities of life on Earth, perhaps we should start seeing these in practice by using a pendulum or Dowser.

A crystal dowser can be obtained easily and cheaply, and are available with many different crystals, clear quartz being the most common.

Rose quartz, amethyst, carnelian and obsidian are amongst the favorites, but others are also available, so perhaps try several in the shop to see which gives you the biggest swing and the clearest answers before buying.

Light wooden beads or balls may also be used and these can be acquired from most craft shops and can come with a hole drilled through them to which a light piece of cotton can be fixed.

I also used to use a normal wire clothes hanger, which when cut and bent, formed excellent dowsers in the traditional shape.

Cut them so that they make an ‘L’ shape, with one shorter end that fits into the hand when in use, it should be long enough to hold but also should be held very loosely, to allow the wire to swivel round.

With a pendulum only one is required whereas when using the wire clothes hanger dowsers, two are required, one for each hand.

A simple experiment to try in order to get used to these wire type dowsers, is to simply walk through an open doorway, when holding these dowsers with the wire pointing open in front of you.

You will notice that even if you held them wide apart, they will close as you walk through the door, and open again as you go past the door.

This type of dowser is suitable for finding objects, walk along with them open, and the object you are looking focused in your mind, and when you get close they will start to close, just as they did with the door.

You can look for lost keys, or start looking for water, or other subjects buried in the garden.

It is an excellent and fun and safe game for the kids, and will help bring on their own sensitivity and open-mindedness.

Most people when dowsing will end up using a crystal dowser, and many will find it invaluable for straight ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers to help check and qualify there own intuitive feelings, but there are other ways of using it and these will help you explore the world around us very graphically.

Before starting on these, try to get used to using it, and make sure you are familiar with all the signals you are getting, these will be personal to you, so find out what they are and what they mean.

You will find your answers get more and more accurate as you go on, and if like me, once started, you will not want to leave the house without your dowser, as it has so many uses in everyday situations.

Exercises to Practice

There are several layers of energy you can look at eventually, but firstly try testing out common things around the house to see what sex they are, try a few things like butter, salt, sugar, milk, wood, pottery and even stones and leaves, and keep exploring.

All the above will have a static polarity or sex and will be your way of proving to yourself that even inanimate objects have a pulse or vibration.

With inanimate objects you will find that a theme develops, and soon you will be half guessing what they are, but this will give you an understanding of the Earth, that you had not perhaps previously considered and will prove invaluable in the future.

You can also sex living things, try some eggs and see what sex they are, obviously they will differ but can’t be checked until they hatch, however try dowsing cats etc. without knowing what they are first, and then you can check your answers afterwards.

One can also check to see where your nearest leyline is, and remember there are large and very strong leylines, as run through Glastonbury, which is the St Michael leyline which runs up from St Michaels Mount in Cornwall, and other smaller and smaller ones.

Remember leylines are simply a grid pattern of energy, running right around the Earth, but this main grid is interconnected to smaller ones like a constant spider web of electrical pulses, that hold everything into place.

You may have one running through your house as I have, or in the garden, so simply check by seeing if when you hold the dowser, if it remains completely still over a certain point.

This is as if being drawn down into a spot in the Earth, the dowser will pinpoint where it runs, and you can even check to see which way it runs.

You can also check for water, and underground water can also cause problems, Geopathic stress can be often caused by underground static water, and on sensitive people and some animals can be quite devastating and the cause of illness and unease.

Underground running water and streams etc. although putting some animals off, like horses, can be very beneficial and help to clear blockages and illnesses.

If stagnant water is found the use of copper pipes placed around the area, and literally just placed into the ground, with one end sticking up, can help to divert the unwanted energies from a house or garden.

You can also use it for diagnosis and healing.

If you are familiar with the chakra points, one can check a person’s health by holding a pendulum over them, and the chakra points and seeing if they give a negative or a positive swing.

If the chakra points are blocked, static and not swirling around as they should be, they will give a negative answer on the pendulum and vice versa.

Try clearing the blocked one(s) mentally, one at a time, and check with the pendulum until they show a positive reading.

For other illnesses, one can check organs or limbs with a dowser, in the same way, or ask questions while dowsing over the body of the recipient.

Testing Human Electrics

Humans are very complicated in all ways, but one can get a better understanding of the human body, and how it relies on vibration and electricity and an interconnection of various signals or on and off switches by following the next experiments with the dowser.

We already accept that a human is either male or female, and has an overriding tendency to one or the other.

However we can also take this further, particularly in the body, down several levels, let me explain further.

If we check a human, with the dowser, we will find either a male or a female signal.

Then when we check one leg or arm and then the other, we will find they have different polarities or sex.

This is the second level down.

Then, for instance, take one arm, and check the upper arm, and check the lower arm, and see that there is also a difference. This difference changes again at the hand.

This is the third level down.

So let’s take this further, let’s look at the hand.

The hand will be different according to whether it is the right or left hand, but let’s just take one hand and look at each separately.

A hand may turn out to be positive or female, however, if we look at the finger on this hand, we will see that the fingers alternate between male and female.

This is the fourth level down.

Now we can look at each finger, and at each joint in the finger, we will see that the polarity or sex changes yet again, taking us down a further level into a sixth level.

One can assume logically, that these levels continue down and down, below the visible levels, and that it appears, each joint, creates a different polarity.

It appears that the joints in the body act in effect as an electrical switch, which somehow alter the current direction and changing the polarity.

This can be seen graphically, if when we are testing the polarity of a hand, we turn the hand over.

If we tested the palm of a hand and found it to be of a positive polarity, when we turn the hand over, we would find it to be the opposite, showing that the direction of the current is running through the hand

This current runs outward and through in a vertical direction if the hand is held horizontally, and vice versa, but at each joint this current changes direction.

I believe this understanding of currents, and the changing polarities is essential to understand if we are to progress and realise that alternative medicines and therapies have a huge part to play in getting rid of disease, which after all, simply blockages in our system.

As Above, So Below, again

Likewise, this rule appears to be constant throughout life, and not only gets smaller but also ever larger, like my favourite saying, “as above, so below”.

For instance, if we look at a tree, we see these same polarities, in larger form.

The trunk of a tree, or wood in general, will always test as male, while the leaves will test as positive.

If as illustrated we see a picture of what is happening in the case of a tree, and start at the bottom of the tree, we will see the Earth, which is female, and then the trunk of the tree, which is male, and then the fruit of the tree, leaves in this case which are female, we see a certain natural order and sequence to it all.

If we then consider water, (male), going into the earth, (female), going into the trunk (male), growing into leaves (female), and now after all this consider the sky and sun, we see a continuance of energies with some of them feeding the tree, and running through the tree.

I have looked at many instances of ‘life’ on the earth and all follow a pattern when looking at polarities or energy transference, and I have no reason to believe this rule, does not apply to the solar system as the sun appears to be male, and the moon female.

Therefore |I suggest the planets also have alternating sexes or polarity, and need to have in order to keep them all in place according to fractal geometry.

I also firmly believe that when we look at polarities, we have to recognise that our age old energies that hold everything together are simply radiation and gravity, and radiation is the same as positive, (radiating out) and gravity is the same as negative, (spiraling in), and that one can’t survive without the other, just as good can’t survive without evil.

Radionics

Radionics has been used for years now and has been used with simple computers since the fifties to great effect.

It is probably the single most effective use of the dowser aiding people’s health, and has in recent times shown it’s true worth.

Radionics relies on blood or hair samples from the patient, on which the tests are based, and with the aid of a simple computer, will diagnose, and once diagnosis has been carried out, can then treat with the aid of a potentiser.

The blood or hair samples are dowsed over, on a computer that sets the level and graduates the answer for accuracy.

This is in the diagnosis stage and radionics can look at several problems, and to what extent they are affecting the patient.

Apart from being used on single patients, radionics can also be applied to remedies, which allow this valuable treatment therapy to be applied to thousands, and without any side effects whatsoever.

Creams, oils, shampoos, in fact any liquid or solid, can now be treated to pass on these benefits, and I personally got involved in other areas, such as fuels and oils, which when treated performed up to 30% more effectively, and could also be more gentle to the environment.

This treatment process is certainly one I advocate, and use, and rely on heavily for my family, as it has personally kept colds, my diabetes and headaches caused form computers and electromagnetic radiation well at bay.
